He is a university professor. He completed a bachelor’s degree in technical engineering (B.E.Tech.) between Malta and Britain, and obtained a master’s degree in electrical-power engineering from Concordia University-Canada 1986/87, and a PhD in high voltage engineering from the University of New South Wales- Australia1997/98. He has held many scientific and administrative positions during his work at the Faculty of Engineering-Hoon, the University of Sirte, and the University of Zawia. He is now the General Director of the Libyan Center for Tamazight Studies, which is affiliated with the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, in addition to an honorary affiliation to the University of Nalut.
He has approximately ninety (90) scientific papers, including about sixty (60) papers in Arabic and thirty (30) papers in English. He has more than two hundred (200) articles published in many national and international magazines and newspapers.
He has many participations in civil society activities. He is a founding member and researcher at the Libya Center for Strategic and Future Studies, and a member of the Constitutional Equality Movement.
Last year, 2022, he published a book entitled: The Experience of Teaching the Tamazight Language in Libya.
Dar Al-Rowad will soon issue a book by him entitled: Reform and conciliation with interests to achieve reconciliation.
Assoc. Professor Adriana Iulia Waniek is Dean of Foreign Languages faculty at Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University in Bucharest. She graduated English-Japanese studies from the University of Bucharest, has a PhD in Theatre History, with a thesis on Noh theatre. Research Interests: Medieval Japanese literature, Comparative Literature, translation theory with a contrastive approach to Romanian-Japanese/Japanese-Romanian translation. Currently teaches History of Japanese literature, Concepts for understanding contemporary Japanese society, Translation Theory and Practice, Typological Characteristics of the Japanese language. Author of 5 books: Nō, the Classical Japanese Theatre (2006), Introduction to Japanese Literature – the Ancient Period (2008), Modern Japanese Literature – the Meiji and Taisho Eras (with Alexandra Gheorghe and Irina Holca, 2013), Introduction to Classical Japanese Literature (2017), Japanese Language. Translation Theory and Specialized Terminologies (2017), and translations of Japanese poetry, editor and translator of Japanese Comic Stories (2017).
Assist. Prof. Dr. İlker Özçelik is currently working in the English Language and Literature Department at Süleyman Demirel University, Turkey. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he is the regional editor of the open-access Global Shakespeares Video and Performance Archive. At the University of Leicester’s School of English, he is a visiting fellow. His research splits into two distinct but nonetheless related strands: textual studies, especially digital text and digital humanities, and contemporary Shakespearean performance. His research has been funded by the European Commission, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, The Turkish Council of Higher Education, the Association for Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI), the International Shakespeare Association, and other agencies. He is co-general editor of Suleyman Demirel University’s Journal of Social Sciences and has guest-edited a number of journal issues. He chaired the first and second Shakespeare festivals in Turkey, and the International Conference on English Language, Literature, and Linguistics (ICELLL) with Noam Chomsky as keynote speaker. He has appeared on the BBC Radio Leicester programme ‘Mid-morning show”. He has also been interviewed on TRT World, TRT Radio, and Anadolu Agency.
He is professor of international relations and conflict resolution at the Arab American University, Palestine. He is the Board’s Director of Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center at the same university where this center is acting as think tank and policy-oriented platform for both graduate students and local and foreign experts as well. He acted as ex dean for Arts school at the Arab American university in 2015-2017 and head for board of directors of the policy and conflict resolution studies center 2019-2021. He wrote books and articles in international refereed journals dealing with IR and peace studies. He obtained wide range of awards including Fulbright fellowship, Erasmus plus, DAAD and Marie Currie awards. His major research interests are conflict and peace studies, civil society and political elites. He supervised more that fifty research master ad PhD thesis local and globally. His latest article is “The Vitality of Popular Resistance in Transforming the Conflict with the Occupation in Palestine”, published in Conflict Studies Quarterly, Romania 2021. He also presented a research paper in Ankara, Turkey conference on exploring the relationship between crisis management and public relation in public and private organizations in August 2022.

A graduate of Philosophy, Linguistics and English Literature from the University of Malta, Professor Dr Clare Vassallo pursued her interest in the interface of these three areas at the University of Bologna, Italy where she was awarded a scholarship to obtain her Ph.D in Semiotics under the tutorship of Prof. Umberto Eco in 1996. The emphasis of her research was in the field of Semiotics as literary and cultural theory and as theory of knowledge, She is Full Professor of Semiotics and Translation Studies in the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Malta.
He holds PhD in Translation and Media Studies from the University of Glasgow, UK. His Master’s degree is in Computer Assisted Translation Tools from Heriot Watt University, UK. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Translation, the University of Tripoli, Libya. He is also the head of the Department of English at University of Tripoli since August 2021. Dr Ethelb has a wide experience in translation of various types of documents. In 2012, he co-founded Tripoli Office for translation services. His translation experience exceeds 10 years with local and international organizations and institutions operating in Libya. In addition to his practical experience in translation, Dr Ethelb published more than 20 papers in translation, media, discourse, linguistics and ideology.

When he awarded a PhD, he starts working in private University in Iraq and have over 15 years’ experience as a senior lecturer, also as a Dean of Private University College, in addition to the Head of Computer Department for more than 5 Years.

Ahmed Mohamed Salih has obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from University of Nottingham, UK, in collaboration with university of Duhok as a joint program in 2006. He has got an M.Sc. degree from the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2005 and another M.Sc. degree in immunology from the University of Salahaddin- Hawler in 1996.
During his carrier, he has been employed for many academic and scientific positions. Recently, he is working as vice president of university of Duhok or administrative and financial affairs since 2018. Formerly he was running Duhok medical research center (DMRC) at the college of medicine since 2015. As an assistant professor in the field of molecular microbiology and immunology, he is committed to his teaching duties and spending much of the time in researches through supervising the M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and involved in research teams. He has supervised 21 M.Sc. and Ph.D. projects. Also, he has published 25 research articles in the field of interest during his academic carrier.

In addition, he worked as an education evaluator in the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Award for Excellence in Education in 2006 & 2007.

She works as a Professor assistant in the Spatial Management Unit at Faculty of Geosciences, University of Szczecin (Poland) where she has been a faculty member since 2004. She received an MSc. in geography from University of Gdańsk (Poland) in 2002, and an MSc. in GIS from Jagiellonian University (Poland) and University of Salzburg (Austria) in 2008. She received her Ph.D. in Geosciences in the discipline of geography from the University of Szczecin (Poland) in 2013. Her research interests are environmental criminology, geography of crime, GIS and crime mapping. She is a member of the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA).

Jawad Al – Ma’arij is an Iraqi academic staff at the faculty of Arts / Department of Translation/ University of Basrah. His main line of interest is translation, contrastive linguistics, discourse analysis, and general linguistics. He obtained his BA and MA degrees from the University of Basrah, but his Ph.D. was awarded to him from the University of Shahid Chamran of Ahvaz in Iran.
