In a successful event, collaboratively organized and implemented by Scholar World Wide (SCHWLAR), Iraq and the faculty of Education at Akdeniz University, Antalya, 25th & 26th of November 2021 hosted the 3rd International Research Conference on Humanities & Social Sciences. What signified the conference this year, was the variety of research topics that reflected the diversity and variety of the researchers’ cultural and educational background. Thus, this conference was a meeting point to share and communicate the news trends of technology, education, science, law, literature, & teaching methodologies.
The cultural richness was an added value to the conference highlighting a joining point of three continents, Africa, Asia, & Europe from which scholars and educators of Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Turkey, United Kingdom, Poland, &Nigeria attended live and online sessions as well as live training workshops provided by SCHWLAR Training Department.
Dr. Helmi Demerkaya, the main conference sponsor & director, Dr. Murad Al-Abdullah, the co-founder of SCHWLAR marked the conference as a memorable event in the history of both institutions, especially Akdeniz University which hosted this conference welcoming and cooperatively assuring that SCHWLAR is a leading NGO in organizing and implementing events that target at spreading knowledge and bringing diverse ideas together creatively and respectively. Followed by speeches given by Dr. Ahmed Owesal, the head of ORSAM Institute for studies & Research- Turkey, Dr. Fadlan Othman, the Dean of AlMadina University, Malaysia, the conference ceremony was launched to the national anthems of both The Republic of Turkey and Iraq played by a leading band, The Orchestra of the Child from Basra. The conference opening ceremony included thorough presentations on two important topics in the 21st century, given by Dr. Donna Sharland from Swansea University, U.K in which she highlighted the strategies to deal with autism in the times of COVID=19, and another was given by Dr. Maciej Czaplewski from Poland, in which he focused on the impact of digital transformation on businesses, education, & personal life. As an added value to the conference cultural richness, Dr, M Nurnazar from Uzbakistan joined the even for two consecutive days. Live translation was provided along the speeches in both Arabic & English languages.
Along with the live and online sessions, scholars and professors participated in interactive training workshop entitled “The Emotional Intelligence” presented by Mr. Baseem AL-Idreesi, the head of Schwlar training department. Finally, the conference organizational committee celebrated the 130 researchers in the closing ceremony signifying the importance of inclusiveness, diversity, and knowledge transfer.
