Esmat's Bio
Esmat Khorshed is an Assistant Lecturer in the Kindergarten Department, Faculty of Education, Tanta University, Egypt. Her specific field is Children's Literature. She is a Certified TOT and a Certified Trainer in Distance Learning from Debono to Teach Thinking in Jordan and also a Certified Trainer in Debono Curriculums for Children.
She is a member of the International Federation for the Arabic Language, based in ''Lebanon''. She is a member of the Arab Educators Association based in "Benha'' - Arab Republic of Egypt. She is a member of the Arab Society for Measurement and Evaluation in Egypt.
She has registered with a Doctor of Philosophy degree (in the preparation of a teacher in Arabic language literature) in the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Education - Tanta University, on a topic entitled: : '' "The Connotation of Phonetic Structure in Modern Children's Literature (Early Childhood Poetry as a Model)"in the year 2020. She holds a Master's Degree in 'Teacher Preparation in Literature - Arabic Language' from the Department of Arabic Language / Faculty of Education, Tanta University in 2018, in a topic entitled: :" Early Childhood Literature in Modern Arabic Poetry (An Analytical Study)".
During her previous high studies, she had worked as Teaching Assistant at Kindergarten Dept, Faculty of Education, Tanta University, Egypt in the period from 2011 to 2018. After that she has been working as an Assistant Lecturer from 2019 till now. There are many practical courses which she has delivered at my work to prepare under-graduated students like:
- 2019:2021 Teaching Methods Courses: 1- language skills development. 2- Using children's literature to develop language skills and phonics in the early childhood stage.
- 2018:2019 Course of Linguistic Concepts in Early Childhood. The course on Computer Skills.
- 2011:2016 The same courses.
Experience in the field of teaching at the university since 2011 until now. She has trained female student teachers in the kindergarten department at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, to learn language skills and phonics, and how to present them to children in the early stage. She participated in the community by presenting some seminars within schools in the field of developing language skills for children in the early stage.
Recently, she had participated in some international foreign conferences as a "Resource Speaker ( in English Language)" and introduced presentations in her academic field.
In addition to the above mentioned pointes of her academic experience, there are many courses that she has been gotten science 2011 till now to develop her knowledge in the field of Children's Literature and Early Childhood.
Frankly speaking, in Egypt, she also very interesting in writing a monthly article (in Arabic Language) especially in " Loghat Al Asr, Al-Ahram ICT Magazine". In these articles, she has tried to be a knowledgeable about what's going on in the recent digital era and have linked it to utilize early childhood stage education.
Furthermore, given her broad interest in human development and her expertise in many human development courses, she has participated as an honor guest with some TV Programs and a Radio Station.
Regarding English Language Skills, she has successfully passed some training courses in the field of English language from the Center for Languages and Continuing Learning - Tanta University, in cooperation with the British Council.
Admittedly, in our twenty first century, we all need to develop not just our knowledge but also our skills and language, therefore, she has intended to evolve her skills in learning computer skills, so she has successfully become a "Certified Trainer in Preparing Teachers in Distance Learning" after participating by attending (online) in a workshop training in the period from 12 to 14 Jan 2021 with Debono Center for Thinking, Jordan, so she can learn my ungraduated students all the curriculum by the technological platforms and teach them how to use it to teach activities online with children from the early stage by investing technology in education. In addition, she has held an international ICDL certificate accredited by UNESCO under the number (UN 10044429).
Moreover, she has held many training courses in the field of professional development and human development.
