Shaymaa Abdulbaqi Albakri is a professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, College of Education –Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences in the University of Baghdad with 34 years of experience, teaching courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She supervised a number of BA theses, MA theses and PhD. dissertations. She obtained her PhD. in TESOL&EFLCurriculum from Baghdad University in 1998, her MA in TESOL&EFL Curriculum from Baghdad University in 1994; and a BA in English Language and Literature , University of Baghdad in 1985. She heads conferences and seminars committees in both the Department of English Language and literature and the Department of Educational &Psychological Sciences. She teaches a number of specialized courses ( Modern Trends in ELT, ESP Course Design, Instructional Design, Learning Styles and Strategies, Teaching Thinking Skills, Psycholinguistics, Applied Linguistics, Teacher Development, Research Design &Methods, Curriculum Development).She has provided and supervised pre-service teacher training courses for twenty eight years. |
