The activities of the 13th International Conference officially commenced on Sunday, July 6, 2026, in the Sultanate of Oman. The conference was organized by Scholar Worldwide in cooperation with Universitas Muhammadiyah, attracting a distinguished gathering of researchers, academics, and experts from around the world.
The opening ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Fadhila, President of Universitas Muhammadiyah, who emphasized the importance of strengthening international academic cooperation and expanding scientific partnerships among universities and research institutions to promote knowledge development, innovation, and sustainable development goals.
Professor Dr. Murad Al-Abdullah, Director of Scholar Worldwide, delivered the welcoming address, expressing his appreciation to all participants and guests from different countries. He praised the Sultanate of Oman for hosting this international scientific event and highlighted the role of academic conferences in fostering global knowledge exchange and scholarly collaboration.
This year’s conference is held under the theme “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Interdisciplinary Collaboration between the Humanities and Applied Sciences (RAIEICHA-26)”, focusing on the latest research trends and applications of artificial intelligence across diverse academic disciplines.
The conference achieved remarkable participation figures, with 97 scientific papers accepted following a rigorous peer-review process. These papers were authored by 169 researchers, participating both in person and virtually, representing 15 Arab and international countries. In addition, the conference brought together representatives from 46 universities, institutions, and research centers, while 125 scientific abstracts were accepted for presentation.
In line with its commitment to maintaining high academic standards, the Scientific Committee declined 14 submitted papers that did not meet the conference’s quality requirements, reflecting its dedication to research excellence and scholarly integrity.
The opening program also featured a distinguished panel discussion on the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on higher education, scientific research, and interdisciplinary integration. The panel included Professor Dr. Dawood Al-Hamdani, Dean of the Graduate Studies Center at Sohar University (Oman), Professor Dr. Ayman Yousef from the Arab American University (Palestine), and Assistant Professor Dr. Radhiya Al-Habsi from the University of Nizwa (Oman).
The session was moderated by Professor Dr. Murad Al-Abdullah, who emphasized the importance of leveraging emerging technologies to support knowledge development and strengthen international academic partnerships that contribute to the advancement of scientific research worldwide.
The 13th International Conference continues Scholar Worldwide’s mission of promoting international academic collaboration and creating platforms for researchers and scholars to exchange ideas, experiences, and innovative research outcomes. The opening ceremony concluded with the launch of specialized scientific sessions and accompanying workshops, which witnessed active engagement from participants in an inspiring academic environment.
