Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the use of the Canva software in primary schools in the Sultanate of Oman based on the CIPP Evaluation Model for educational assessment. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design and was conducted with ten primary school teachers who use the software to design lessons and classroom activities. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis and qualitative coding techniques. The results indicated that the software contributes to enhancing visual creativity and classroom interaction and is characterized by ease of use and an attractive design. However, its effectiveness is influenced by several challenges, including weak technological infrastructure, limited formal training, and a lack of technical support. The study therefore recommends organizing specialized training programs for teachers, improving the technological environment in schools, and adopting clear mechanisms for integrating the software within a structured educational framework to maximize its pedagogical benefits.
