Challenges of the Arabic Language in Light of Artificial Intelligence and Ways to Treat It

Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the most important challenges surrounding the Arabic language in light of artificial intelligence, as the most important difficulties to which the Arabic language is exposed will be highlighted. This study addressed the most important problems facing the Arabic language in light of artificial intelligence techniques. The researcher analyzed these problems and found out their causes, and then presented suggestions that would address these challenges. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, by extrapolating previous educational literature about the study of the Arabic language and artificial intelligence. The results indicated that many efforts are still in the first steps in identifying the challenges and difficulties related to the Arabic language in light of artificial intelligence, including the challenges related to the Arabic language itself in all its fields and levels and its interference with artificial intelligence techniques. This is in addition to the fact the Arabic language has faced both human and technical challenges. In light of the results, the study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is supporting government bodies and institutions in the field of Arabic language technology, overcoming the obstacles facing that support, and keeping pace with developments in patents regarding artificial intelligence in the fields of the Arabic language
