The Legal Rooting of Peaceful Coexistence in Islam Through the texts of the Qur’anـ the Sunnah and the Consensus of the Nation

Abstract

The nature of this research involves that there is an introductionـ four requirements and a conclusion. In the first requirementـ the research dealt with both the linguistic and terminological definition of peaceful coexistence. In the secondـ the research dealt with the leniency of Islam and its approach to coexistence with violators. In the thirdـ it dealt with peaceful coexistence in the texts of the Holy Qur’anـ the Prophet’s Sunnahـ and the nation’s consensus. In the fourthـ it dealt with the regulations of peaceful coexistence. Finallyـ the conclusion highlighted the most important findings of the research.
