الملخص

Emperor Theodosius I (347–395 AD), also known as "Theodosius the Great," is one of the most important Roman emperors. He was born in Hispaniola. His father was a general in the Roman army. Emperor Theodosius had many achievements, including converting Christianity into an official religion and rejecting pagan religions. He also issued strict laws that limited the spread of paganism, ordering the confiscation of their temples and their destruction. He also made agreements with the Germans (Goths). Theodosius died in Milan in 395 AD, but after his death, the Roman Empire was divided into an eastern part under the control of his son Arcadius and a western part under the control of his other son Honorius. Theodosius became the last great emperor to rule Rome as a result of this division, which greatly affected the Roman Empire.
