The Effectiveness of Climate Change Management and its Impact on the Sustainable Development of the Tourism Industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Abstract
The research aims to reveal the impact of climate change on the development and sustainability of the tourism sector. The tourism sector is considered among the economic sectors most sensitive to the potential effects of climate change, as this sector is closely related to the natural ingredients, environmental data and cultural characteristics of the tourist area, which in turn is highly sensitive to any changes and climatic fluctuations, and therefore the study of climatic elements and their effects on industry Tourism is of essential importance to achieve economic, social and environmental sustainability. The research aimed to identify the climatic characteristics, in addition to the physiological comfort indicators of the climate and its effects. The Kingdom of Bahrain, with its strategic and geographical location, climate, and environmental conditions, is characterized by the presence of most of the good climatic, natural, terrestrial and marine elements suitable for most tourism activities such as beach tourism, diving tourism, water sports and nature reserve tourism marine, land and other activities. The study also recommends enhancing cooperation between government institutions and private tourism establishments by organizing awareness campaigns and seminars aimed at confronting the dangers of climate change on the tourism sector. Training programs should also be implemented for workers in the Bahraini tourism sector, supporting green human resources management, and helping Bahraini hotels obtain the green hotel certificate. In addition, it is recommended that Bahraini universities contribute to addressing the phenomenon of climate change by preparing scientific studies and research that discuss this phenomenon and its negative effects on the tourism sector.
