Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to study the impact of the effectiveness of supply chains on operational performance by applying it to the Saudi NUPCO Company. The researcher used the descriptive survey method because it suits the nature and objectives of the study.
The current study population consisted of employees working at NUPCO, and the researcher tested 75 respondents from the study population, and after some examination and arrangement, the researcher obtained 75 questionnaires suitable for analysis.
According to the results presented, there is a strong statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of supply chain effectiveness and the dimensions of operational performance in the study.
The Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation, and it was found that the Pearson correlation value reached 0.835, which indicates that there is a strong positive relationship of 83% between the two dimensions. This means that increasing the effectiveness of supply chains is linked to improving operational performance, and conversely, decreasing the effectiveness of supply chains is linked to a deterioration in operational performance, and this result supports the importance of improving supply chain effectiveness to achieve excellent operational performance in organizations.
