Evaluation of e-learning in self-defense games courses, curricula and sports training and their relationship to learning motivation from the perspective of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Yarmouk University

Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate e-learning in self-defense games courses, curricula, and sports training and its relationship to learning motivation from the perspective of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Yarmouk University. The study sample consisted of 242 male and female students, who were selected randomly. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the correlation method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the e-learning evaluation scale prepared by Al-Sarhan (2023) and Al-Maliki (2023) was used after its modification, consisting of 33 paragraphs and distributed over four areas: electronic content, technical e-learning (design), electronic interaction, and electronic evaluation. To measure the self-concept, the researcher used the scale prepared by Ayoub (2020) after modifying it, consisting of 20 paragraphs. After verifying the psychometric properties, the data were collected and analyzed. The results of the study showed that the level of e-learning evaluation among students of self-defense games, curricula, and sports training courses at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences was average. The results also showed that the level of learning motivation among students of self-defense games, curricula, and sports training courses at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences was average. The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the level of e-learning evaluation and learning motivation among students of self-defense games, curricula, and sports training courses at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Yarmouk University. The researcher recommends the importance of moving greatly towards e-learning with its various applications that are appropriate for students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and trying to develop it and provide an appropriate environment by holding various courses and workshops for students and teachers.
