Al-Aal” and “Al-Ahl” in holy Quran ( Doctrinal Study )

Abstract

In the present research entitled (Al-Aal and Ahl in the Holy Quran: A Doctrinal Study، we dealt with all the texts of the Holy Quran that dealt with the words Al-Aal and Ahl wherever they appeared and in any Surah، as well as the words similar to them، in order to resolve the confusion between the two words that caused a great deal of confusion among scholars، especially in topics related from a doctrinal perspective. We dealt with the research problem that we wanted to address، trying to resolve the confusion between the two words Al-Aal and Ahl and also putting each of them in its correct place، which would result in a correct understanding of the meaning of the verses and hadiths in which they were mentioned. We raised some questions that we were keen to address in the research. Such as: What is the real meaning of the word Al-Aal and its doctrinal meaning? And what is the real meaning of the word Ahl and its doctrinal meaning as well? We aimed to resolve the confusion between the use of the two words and to reach an accurate understanding of their doctrinal significance. Therefore، the importance of the research lies in the fact that not lifting this veil and this confusion in understanding the significance of Al and Ahl has generated many differences and fruitless debates among scholars، which has led each group to tweet in its flock of understanding of the significance and meaning of these two words. We believe that we will lead the parties to the shore of correct understanding of the significance of the two words and end the confusion، God willing. Our adopted approach in the research was to divide the research into three demands، and we allocated a demand for each word، and the third demand was allocated to the final word in understanding the two words، and we relied on doctrinal analysis to resolve the confusion by transferring the scholars’ understanding of the significance of the two words from their original sources.
