Abstract

Equality is a general right, and the rest of the rights flow from it. The enjoyment of human rights is conditional, beginning with equality. This right is one of the principles affirmed by most international conventions and declarations, and it is one of the general constitutional principles. What is meant by equality here is legal (formal) equality, that is, equality between those whose legal positions or qualities are similar.
