The Culture of Tolerance and Love in Islamic Thought

Abstract

The Islamic religion came full of principles of tolerance،  love،  moderation،  and good coexistence with all human beings،  because of their important and prominent role in building societies،  and it reinforced these concepts in the youth to consolidate this great creation،  and create strong unity of sublime morals that contribute to the unification of the nation،  its elevation،  and living in peace،  security،  harmony،  and love. This research aims to clarify what is meant by tolerance and love in Islamic thought،  and to establish an approach to the culture of peace،  human tolerance،  and coexistence among members of society in order to consolidate these concepts for the sake of nation development. If the majority of society members carry the principle of love and tolerance for each other in their hearts and minds،  and cooperation and solidarity become the solid structure of society،  then hatred will be removed from society،  and as the circle of love and tolerance expand،  an upright،  strong generation will arise with it،  capable of achieving love and tolerance.
